Independent and Canadian. Businesses can respond to reviews — they can never pay to remove them.

About fraud.ca

fraud.ca helps Canadians check a business before they hand over their money. On one page you’ll find what other people experienced, open discussion where you can ask questions, and, where available, the business’s public record from government sources.

What we stand for

  • Independence. No business can pay to remove, hide or change a genuine review. Businesses can respond in public — the same way for everyone.
  • Fairness. Honest negative experiences are welcome, and so are positive ones. Our guidelines ask reviewers to describe what happened rather than make accusations, to help keep things fair for businesses too.
  • Transparency. Public records are shown with their source and date. Our rules and how we moderate are explained.
  • Privacy. We never show your email address publicly, and we don’t sell personal information. See our Privacy policy.

fraud.ca is a review community. It isn’t a government agency, a consumer protection body or the police. If you’ve lost money to fraud, contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and your local police.
